Thank you for choosing PAUL Singapore for all your bake needs. By placing an order and making payment, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following terms. For the purposes of clarity, PAUL Singapore shall/may be referred to as “We”/ “Our”/” Us” in this policy. 

 

GENERAL 

Full and total acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale is necessary and essential in order to place an order. As a result, the client will not be able to enforce any clause whatsoever, as placing an order shall act as express acceptance of this clause. 

Considering the possible changes to this website, PAUL Singapore reserves the right to adapt or amend, at any time, these general terms and conditions of sale. New general terms and conditions of sale shall be published on the website and will be applicable to any order placed after being posted online on the website.  

Whilst every endeavour is made to ensure consistency, all product images shown are for illustration purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product. PAUL Singapore reserves the right to change product images and specifications at any time without notice. 

 

PLACEMENT OF ORDER 

The client may place an order on the website. The process for placing an order is as follows: 

  • Choose your products and add them to cart
    · Validate the contents of the cart
    · Provide information regarding the client personal details 
    · Indicate self-collect/delivery date and time 
    · Indicate remarks as well as preferred payment method 
    · Accept the GTC 
    · Confirm the order 
    · Validate payment

The client is able to see the different stages of the order details and the total price. The client may correct any errors before confirming his/her order, thereby expressing his/her acceptance. All requested information must be provided for us to process your order. We reserve the right to request further information from you at any time to enable us to complete your order.  

Orders can be placed anytime, however do take note of the following minimum lead time requirement for deliveries to be fulfilled.

  1. For next day delivery, excluding products in “CATERING/PARTY category, the cut off is at 0900PM for following day delivery. 
  2. For all products inclusive of products in “CATERING/PARTY category, the minimum lead time is 2 days for delivery orders to be fulfilled.  

By placing an order, you confirm that the details contained in the order are correct in all respects. Any information given by the client remains his/her sole responsibility and any anomalies generated by him/her may not be borne by the us nor shall we be liable for any loss or damage occasioned thereby, in the event that it becomes impossible to carry out the order and achieve a successful outcome.  

An email will be sent to the provided email confirming your order. Conclusion of the contract is only effective after confirmation of the order by us. Please check your Spam/Junk mail and contact us @ catering@paul-singapore.com should you not receive a confirmation.  

Pre-payment with credit (VISA/MASTERCARD)/DEBIT/AMERICAN EXPRESS or via Payment Link is required through our website. Cash on delivery or any other payment method is not accepted.  In the event of fraudulent use, we cannot be held liable. In the absence of payment by the bank, or a refusal by the banking centres to make payment, the order shall be automatically cancelled. 

Payment for the price of the products makes the order final and no amendment of the order may be entertained by or taken into consideration by PAUL Singapore thereafter. 

 

EXCHANGE POLICY: REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS 

In view of the currant COVID-19 pandemic, we have a strict cancellation policy. We are not able to assist with refunds, exchange, cancellations or amendments once payment is processed and completed online.

Please ensure all fields are input correctly before checking out.  

Requests and special instructions will have to be included in the “REMARKS” section with no more than 120 characters and excluding emojis. 

Any amendments/changes allowed under certain circumstances will incur an administrative charge of $15.00.  

We cannot be held liable for any damage purchased from us after delivery or collection.

The recipient of the order is wholly responsible for checking that the order received (including provisions of knives, candles, decorations) are correct and in good condition. Subsequent disputes regarding missing items/damage to the product/order will not be entertained if not raised to the driver at the time of delivery. We will not be responsible for any discrepancy that occurs after the delivery has been completed.

 

PRICING 

All prices stated in the website are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and excludes applicable taxes and delivery charges where applicable. 

All prices are non-negotiable. We do not ‘price match’, as our prices are based upon our high standard of work and quality of ingredients used. Successful payment secures the listed price(s) for the order and prevents any further price increases up to the point of delivery.  

 

DELIVERY 

Delivery slots are available on a first-come-first served basis and confirmed upon successful payment and confirmation of order will be sent to email as provided by client.  

If for any reason you are not present at the time of delivery or where you have provided an incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete delivery address, we will endeavour to re-deliver subject to driving personnel’s availability upon your request. A surcharge of $15.00 including GST applies and payment is to be fully made before a reschedule is arranged. Alternatively, you may collect your order from PAUL Tanglin. All uncollected orders will be disposed at the end of the day.  

Amendments to delivery date/date will be subject to a $15.00 when possible and not applicable for postponement on actual delivery day itself to a later day.  

 

SELF-COLLECTION 

All items purchased online must be paid online before the order is processed. Please note that items in the shopping cart are not reserved or set aside. If you would like to make payment at our retail stores, please make a direct purchase at the stores. 

Most products online are available in our retail stores, unless they are online exclusives, which would be indicated in the item description. If it an important occasion, we advise customers to call the individual store to check availability of their product of choice before heading down. 

Alternatively, customer may wish to order the items online in advance for self-collection. Select your preferred date/time/outlet for self-collect. Orders are to be duly collected on selected day/time as uncollected orders will be disposed at the end of the day.  

 

ACCESS/ FORCE MAJEURE 

In the event we cannot fulfil obligation to you under this agreement due to any event beyond our reasonable control, we will do our best to notify you and as such we will be relieved of our obligations to you under these terms and conditions to the extent that our service is hindered by such an event. 

 

UNAVAILABILITY OF PRODUCTS 

PAUL Singapore reserves the right to change the product range at any time and from time to time. Certain offers may have a restricted period of validity that will be indicated for each product or product range. 

We undertake to honour orders received on the website only within the limits of available stocks. In rare cases, a product that is shown as available on the website may become unavailable after definite registration of the order. If one or several products ordered is unavailable on day of delivery, our service staff will undertake to inform the client of this fact as to advise you of any such changes, should we not be able to fulfill any orders for whatever reason; and offer suggestions for alternative products. 

We reserve the right to make alterations to the design, appearance and technical specifications of our products from time to time and at such time or at any other times, to make alterations to our advertised information concerning such products, without notice. 

The client agrees and acknowledges that no penalty shall be applied for such substitutions /cancellations and that subject to the above, receipt of reimbursement of the amount paid by the client shall be conclusive, and the client waives all rights to claim any penalty or other costs from PAUL. 

REFUND AND EXCHANGE

In the rare event that our bakes fail to meet our commitment to quality, a refund in terms of a store credit or an exchange may be offered at our discretion. We will endeavour to resolve all requests for refund or exchange within 3 business days of receiving the request.  

Any request for refund(store credit) or exchange must be made within 24 hours of receipt of the order and the client must allow part or all of the product, upon our request, to be collected by us to allow us to investigate the complaint provided you have complied with any request by us to return the order in dispute to us. In circumstances where a refund is offered, it will be limited to the value of the item concerned in dispute and the funds will be reimbursed via the same payment mode within 14 business days of the complaint being resolved. Additional avenues of recourse other than mediation, whether it may be further compensation or otherwise, is not available. 

 

ALLERGIES/ DIETARY REQUIREMENTS 

Our bakes contain gluten, eggs, dairy products, nuts and other allergens. All Products are made in the same environment as products containing allergens, so we cannot guarantee that any Product is free from traces of allergens. 
PAUL Singapore Pte Ltd shall not be held liable for any adverse medical conditions and/or allergies arising from consumption of our Products. 

 

PROHIBITION OF SALES OUTSIDE THE NETWORK 

The products are intended to be sold exclusively through our distribution networks. It is therefore strictly prohibited to buy products for resale purposes outside of our networks. Over and above an infringement of our brands and the integrity of our products, such acts may involve the legal and criminal liability of their perpetrators, where appropriate.
